This policy is valid from 28 September 2011
This blog is a personal blog written and edited by me. For questions about this blog, please contact Kim at (rainydaypennies@yahoo.com).
The purpose of Rainy Day Pennies® is to help you be able to save money in all areas that you can (groceries, clothing, household, toys, gifts, etc.). My “idea” is why not shop frugally whenever possible? The money you save can be used on things where coupons/savings are not readily available (gas, vacations, entertainment, hobbies, and evenings out). By sharing money-saving ideas and encouragement, personal stories, deals, printable coupons, recipes and more, I hope to help inspire and equip you to become a better home economist — and to enjoy doing so!
At the same time, I believe that it’s perfectly okay for me to be paid for the time and effort put into this blog. I have a number of costs associated with running a blog of this size (server space, tech help and more). So sometimes when you print a coupon, download a free eBook or sign up for a freebie, I’m earning a small kickback from the manufacturer. I also accept paid advertising on my blog’s sidebar and use affiliate links on deal posts when they are available.

However, because my integrity is much more important than making a quick buck, I always seek to have your best interests in mind first and foremost. If it doesn’t benefit you, I won’t post it — no matter how much someone is willing to pay me to do so. In addition, I will not post content that someone else has paid me to post. I am very selective and try not to make my readers jump through hoops to get a deal.

This blog accepts forms of cash advertising, sponsorship, paid insertions or other forms of compensation.

The compensation received may influence the advertising content, topics or posts made in this blog. That content, advertising space or post may not always be identified as paid or sponsored content.

The owner(s) of this blog is not compensated to provide opinion on products, services, websites and various other topics. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely the blog owners. If we claim or appear to be experts on a certain topic or product or service area, we will only endorse products or services that we believe, based on our expertise, are worthy of such endorsement. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer or provider.

This blog does contain content which might present a conflict of interest. This content may not always be identified.
